Discovering a wonderful hotel when you’re visiting in Cincinnati isn’t typically effortless, simply because you have so many options! Okay, you can choose something out of the same Cincinnati guide that everybody and their uncle has purchased during the last 5 years, but that does not mean you’re going to have a good experience (in fact, it would nearly promise a terrible one!). As an alternative, it’s really a good idea to do a dash of research, using your buddy the net. Locals definitely know the top hotels in their own city, just what the best rooms are, and the perfect times of year to go to their chosen parts of the city. But you don’t need to go up to everybody you run into in the airport in Cincinnati, demanding their tips. So instead, we’ve collected this brief set of our 3 most-loved hotels in Cincinnati for you. These are the ones we highly recommend to our friends when they come to visit – but because we do not want you to think we’re only being biased, below are the reviews from Yelp.com:

1. Palace Restaurant the At the Cincinnatian Hotel

Cincinnati, OH 45202

If you are looking for fine dinning, in a “classic” atmosphere, you shouldn’t be disappointed. While some might think service is slow, it is appropriate for this type of establishment. As a result, if you are in a rush, I would probably recommend some other restaurant. The servers are attentive, the food is excellent with a nice presentation. This restaurant is more of a hidden gem waiting to be discovered, yet once discovered, you will come back.

The Palm Court Bar is my favorite place to meet friends for drinks. The lobby is a rich combination of architectural space, darkly polished wood, overhead murals and mirrors that delights the eye. It’s like stepping back to a more elegant time. My best friend and I always have lunch here after shopping, and their salads are my favorite.
Orchids is good for dinner, just not my favorite place to dine in Cincinnati. We have stayed here, and the room was small but nice. Service is excellent.

Great location in Cincinati. Nice large rooms, good linens, comfortable bed. Restaurants/bars close by (good bar on site, we were there for Happy Hour). Staff was excellent and even made our dinner reservations for us. We definitely will be back!
